Viva Latinus was so proud to put up a good show at the 2014 CAC+US concert earlier this year on 22nd and 23rd February. Much effort has been put in to make these items possible, and we're grateful to everyone who came to support us and show us some love!
Here's the spotlight on 2014's cactus Items:
1. Back to the 70s
Back to the 70s is a lively, fun and cheeky mix of disco rock, cha cha and rumba performed by the 2014 batch of Viva Latinus juniors. Some of the dancers were stepping on stage for the first time in their lives, and we think they did an amazing job, learning latin technique, learning to dance in heels, and learning to be a dancer AND a performer, all in the short span of a few months!

2. Freedom Beauty Truth and Love
This year, the Viva Alumni also managed to put up their first item at CACTUS. The Viva Alumni also put in much hard work to juggle work schedules and dance practices to make this long (8 minutes) item happen!
This item consists of Cabaret dancing to the song Mein Herr and a romantic rumba to the beautiful song Come What May.
Inspiration was drawn from the classic Moulin Rouge, and the item description is as follows:

Get lost in the relvery of 1920s Cabaret, a kingdom of night time pleasures where the rich and powerful come out to play with the young and beautiful creatures of the underworld.
